2. How it works
With the RC1 key fob, arming and disarming wireless sensors is done with a simple push of a button. When activated, the sensors are disarmed, allowing staff to open a showcase, move a protected object, or access an exhibit.
The RC1 remote supports wireless communication up to 150m, and all data transmissions are securely protected by powerful AES-128 encryption to ensure uninterrupted operation and protection against interception or unauthorized access.

6. Operating instructions
Using the remote control
To control the security zones, use the buttons on the key fob housing:
- Press the unlock button on the key fob before opening a showcase or moving an object to temporarily disarm the paired zone.
- After pressing the button, the user has 10 seconds to open each of the monitored showcases. If you need to open several showcases, you should press the button before each opening.
- During the unlock period, if more than one showcase is opened simultaneously, the system will immediately activate the alarm.
- After finishing work with the object, the system will automatically return to the armed mode. Zone bindings are configured on the central SensGuard Alarm Receiver.
Up to 10 independent control keys can be paired to each of the 10 control zones, allowing for flexible distribution of rights among store or museum staff.
